My Paintings will be on display at Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath, Bangalore from 5th-10th Jun 2014.
Born March 1966, I am an engineer, designer & an artist who hails from Mysore, India.
Painting is my hobby since childhood & I have a flair for painting portraits, landscapes & traditional art.
Son of renowned Mysore style artist Late shri M. Ramanarasiah (1921- 2012), I enjoyed assisting my father in painting whenever I was around him at Mysore.
After being a full-time corporate employee as a Product Design & Development professional in Mumbai, Sharjah & Coimbatore for about 23 years in all, I have now settled in my home town of Mysore, to find my roots back in art & Music too & to also continue my father’s legacy. I am now a freelance product design consultant, & trying to devote quality time for paintings & Music which are my passions.
This Show at Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath is my first Solo exhibition & the exhibits are a mix of different styles which has been done over the years. I plan to develop a body of work in specific styles in future.
